On-site Proscreening at Comic Conventions
Implemented in 2007, our on-site proscreening has been a tremendous success. Matt Nelson sets up at many
comic conventions throughout the year, and provides a one-on-one session with you and your books. Each book you bring is evaluated on the spot with the same equipment
we use for office proscreens. A record of the proscreen results are provided to you after the session, and processing begins the week after we return from the show.
On-site proscreens provides many benefits; your ability to see why certain books pass or fail proscreen gives you insight that can normally take 3-4 submissions
through the mail. It is invaluable to check books you purchase on the floor of the convention that weekend. You save on shipping fees because we
return with your books (and you take your rejects with you), and you also save on processing time, since normal prosceens in the office typically take 3-5 business days. Finally,
we just enjoy meeting our clients in person!
